Game privacy · Free TestFlight beta
Your drop. Your privacy.
This notice covers the Release/TestFlight distribution of the initial free beta of Beat Drop Buddies: The Drop for iPhone and iPad. Updated 17 October 2026.
Rewarded ads and PostHog gameplay uploads are disabled in this beta. You can play without connecting Game Center. Apple still processes information needed for TestFlight and its other services, as explained below.
Who is responsible?
The game is provided by Candor Partners BV, Slommerdonk 10, 9230 Wetteren, Belgium, company number BE 1021.620.925. Contact developer@beatdropbuddies.app for game support or privacy requests.
Private developer builds may use Google test ads and are outside this beta notice. Visiting our website is covered by the separate website privacy notice.
Your progress stays on your device
The game stores your progress, coins, inventory, settings, recent runs, daily rewards and unfinished drop locally. It has no separate game account and does not synchronize earned progress between devices. Your Apple device-backup settings may separately include app data.
Purchase entitlement records, queued Game Center results and any pending earned-ad recovery receipt are also local app data. These let the game deliver the features you request and recover interrupted work. Deleting the app can remove local progress; offloading it or keeping a device backup may preserve it.
Gameplay analytics and ads
This beta does not send gameplay summaries to PostHog or offer Google rewarded ads. The sharing control is unavailable for new opt-ins. If an earlier development build stored a sharing preference, reference or queue, uploads remain disabled; turning sharing off in Privacy & online clears that local reference and queue. Old queued summaries expire on the next relevant activity after seven days.
We do not add an advertising identifier, email, name, Game Center ID, raw touch recording or screen recording to gameplay summaries. We will update this notice and provide the appropriate choices before enabling advertising or analytics in a later release. Publishing this notice does not activate either service.
Apple TestFlight, Game Center and purchases
TestFlight automatically supplies Apple with beta usage and crash information and shares reports with us. Feedback you choose to send through TestFlight, including comments and screenshots, is also shared with us. We use these reports to improve the beta and investigate problems; the game's analytics switch does not control this Apple channel. Public-link invitations do not show us your name or email unless you provide them separately. See TestFlight & Privacy.
Game Center is optional. If you connect, the game uses Apple's player identifier to associate eligible scores and achievements with you and may retain pending results locally until submitted. Your scores can appear with your Game Center nickname. We do not request your friends list or use your Game Center identity for PostHog analytics. Apple explains its processing and sharing controls in Game Center & Privacy.
The game can contact Apple's StoreKit service to check cosmetic products and existing entitlements, including when it opens. If a purchase test is available, TestFlight uses Apple's sandbox and does not charge you. Verified transaction identifiers, product and environment information let the game deliver, restore or revoke test cosmetics. We do not receive payment-card details or your Apple password. Test purchases do not promise ownership in the later paid release. See Apple's TestFlight purchase guidance and Apple's privacy policy.
Support and retention
If you email us, we receive your address and the information you choose to send. We use it to answer you, investigate the issue and handle applicable rights requests. Include only relevant details; do not send passwords, payment-card information or a full device backup.
We keep support correspondence and beta reports only as long as needed to resolve issues, maintain necessary development records and meet legal obligations or handle claims. Apple controls retention within its own services. Locally stored progress remains until removed from the app or device, subject to backup settings.
We process information needed to provide requested game features, rely on our legitimate interests in maintaining and improving the beta for support and diagnostics, and comply with applicable legal obligations for rights requests. Apple operates its services under its own terms and privacy notices, including international processing and safeguards.
Your choices and rights
You can play offline, leave Game Center disconnected and choose whether to send feedback. The game does not ask for a date of birth or provide player chat. TestFlight and Apple services have their own eligibility rules and parental controls.
Where applicable, you can request access, correction, deletion, a copy of information, restriction, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact developer@beatdropbuddies.app; we may need proportionate details to find the relevant records. We aim to respond within one month and explain any lawful extension or limitation. We cannot retrieve a device-only save that has not been provided to us. Apple-controlled data may require Apple's privacy controls; we can help direct your request.
You may contact your local supervisory authority or the Belgian Data Protection Authority. We will revise this notice when the beta's data practices change.
